Food: As your dog gets a little less active in his/her old age, you may want to look at adjusting the food. A less rambunctious dog needs a food that is lower in the calorie department, so a little lower in carbs and fat. Toys: Just because your pup is older doesn’t mean he or she wants to stop playing! Continuing to play keeps their bodies healthy and happy and their minds engaged and alert.
