Does saying "sit" or "stay" just get you a furry little head tilt in return? Our training classes help you and your dog start speaking the same language.
Who’s a good boy? Your newly
trained dog, that’s who.
There’s nothing like the feeling when you say “sit” and for the first time, your pet actually does it. Building on success is what our program is all about. That means no punishments, just lots of positive reinforcement.

It’s never too late for old dogs to learn new tricks — we make adjustments for different developmental stages so that our classes work for puppies, new rescues and old friends. Program class pricing varies, so contact your local store for more details.
FYI: Dogs do not attend the first session
Don’t worry, we’re not teaching you to bark. You’ll learn how to prompt a simple command (“come,” “down,” “leave it”), teach your pet their name, keep their attention on walks and say no to bad behavior. And puppies, be prepared—at the end, they’ll have an opportunity to take the American Kennel Club S.T.A.R Puppy Evaluation.
Prerequisite: Level 1
Learning to do a command makes you a good boy (or girl). Learning to do it reliably makes you a champ. We start by removing prompts from the commands in Level 1 and replace them with a reward for a job well done. Plus, we keep things interesting with new commands as well. Is your dog a teacher’s pet? Acing this class means adult dogs can go directly into Level 4.
Prerequisite: Level 2
This class makes sure their skills work as well in the dog park as they do in the classroom. We take every command your pet has learned so far and teach them how to respond reliably while dealing with The Three D’s— distance, duration and distraction.
Prerequisites: Level 3
FYI: Adult graduates of Level 2 can go directly into Level 4 with their instructor’s recommendation.
Think of the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluation as the doggie S.A.T.—it’s highly respected and worth doing right. We prep your dog to pass with flying colors by increasing proficiency in basic commands and working on control in everyday situations. Then, they can take the CGC evaluation at our facility or any AKC sanctioned testing location.
There’s a lot going on outside of class. Whether you and your dog are working towards a specific goal, dealing with a behavioral problem or just looking to make new friends, we’ve got a spot for you.
