Pets are susceptible to allergies just like humans. Pollens, dust and environmental pollution can cause your furry friend to sneeze and itch. Here are a few quick tips to help care for him or her during allergy season.

1. Watch the skin and coat and consider a skin and coat supplement. Coconut oil can help with hydration that will combat the itch. Plus Dr. Harvey’s Emune-Boostherbal supplement features bee pollen that can help build immunity to other pollens and support the immune system to fight off the allergic reactions.
2. If your pet is super sensitive, take special precaution on those “air alert” dates. Keep them inside, cool and well hydrated to help prevent the irritations.
3. If your furry friend is susceptible to pollen or environmental allergens, we recommend grooming wipes, like the ones from PL 360 and Earthbath to wipe the paws and belly after outdoor play. This will help take the grass and weed pollens off and keep it from irritating them further.
4. Frequent grooming and bathing, combined with the supplements, will help keep the irritants off the skin, but definitely use a coconut oil supplement to replace the moisture that washing can pull away.
