Trevor makes his picks from the Kriser’s Bucktown (Chicago) location. He shares a pic of a favorite customers – Stanley – whom the Kriser’s team has known since he was just a puppy. Here is what Trevor recommends in January:
Blissful Dog Nose Butter – The BEST for those cold months when you – and your dog – feel dry and chapped. A dog’s nose has to be wet to perform to the best of it’s ability. Nose Butter’s organic oils, butters, and waxes heal and hydrate dry, cracked, and sore noses. I rub it onto my dog Buddy’s nose and then distract him with dinner right after applying so he doesn’t lick it off!
Stella & Chewy’s Freeze Dried Dinner Patties – These things are like Girl Scout cookies for dogs – delicious and irresistible – only healthy! While the patties are meant as dinner, I find they work great at kibble toppers and treats! I love that the high protein and nutrient contents mimic a raw diet (after adding water). Plus this is a favorite of our most regular customer, Stanley!
Cycle Dog Reflective Leashes and Collars – I’m a HUGE fan of recycling whatever I can. Cycle Dog uses old bike tires as the primary component of these products. Buddy tests the quality of whatever I buy him, and I’m pleased to say that these collars and leashes are some of the most durable (and odor resistant) that I’ve been able to find! In combination with reflective material for nighttime walks and a beer bottle opener for all other occasions, what’s not to love about these things?!
