TEXAS
Kriser’s West University – Pup Squad
Pup Squad’s mission is to rescue orphaned puppies and nursing litters from the streets, shelters and other life-threatening situations and match them with permanent adoptive homes, and to provide support and education to these adopters and the community at large. They will work with other community rescue efforts to promote spay/neuter, adoption and humane animal care to ultimately reduce the number of animals euthanized in Houston and surrounding areas.
Kriser’s Vintage – Corridor Rescue
Kriser’s Heights – Miniature Schnauzer Rescue of Houston
Within the organization’s scope and reach, MSRH is dedicated to rescuing every abandoned or lost Miniature Schnauzer that we can and migrating them to a loving forever home. In the interim period, between rescue and adoption, our all-volunteer team provides temporary homes in a safe and loving environment, while we search for the perfect adopter. We never forget that most adoptive families see but a snapshot of our overall organization. As such, we strive to ensure a perfect experience to give that snapshot exceptional clarity. Every perfect adoption experience requires a network of committed volunteers, veterinarians, partners, loving adoptive families and friends who pay the love forward with gifts of time, talent and treasure. We want every Schnauzer to have a home. At MSRH, we make it happen….one adoption at a time!
Kriser’s The Woodlands – Reggie’s Friends Pet Rescue
Reggie’s Friends was founded out of our love for helping dogs.
Living in a city of 1.2 million homeless animals, there was rarely a day when we didn’t see a dog in need of help. Instead of just wanting to do something, we figured out how to do something! Reggie’s Friends is dedicated to the health and welfare of dogs in and around the greater Houston, TX area. We focus our attention on helping dogs who have been abandoned in boarding facilities, shelter dogs, and street dogs find loving, forever families. We also believe in helping people with their pets by hosting low-cost vaccination and microchipping events. We live and love by our motto #streetlifetosweetlife!
Kriser’s Stone Oak – Missy Haven Canine Rescue
Our vision is to elevate the status of animals in society through facilitating a culture change in how people acquire animals and how they commit to those animals they choose to make a part of their family. To RESCUE, REHABILITATE, and RE-HOME adoptable animals from high kill shelters and the community, and to encourage Responsibility within the pet owning population.
Kriser’s River Oaks – Dori’s Darlings Cat Rescue
Dori’s Darlings is a 501c3 Non-Profit Cat Rescue in Houston TX. We save 100’s of cats every year from dangerous-street situations, and out of high-rate kill-shelters. Once cats & kittens enter our program they are never at risk of being put to sleep! We spay/neuter & fully vet ALL cats as they enter the program (rabies, FVRCP, micro-chip, de-worm, flea prevention is applied), we also provide any additional medical treatment where necessary (from drops for ear-mites, to in-depth medical procedures). They are then placed in foster care until we find their purrfect match! ?
Kriser’s Austin Aboretum – Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas
Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is an all-volunteer group in the heart of Texas that is dedicated to the health, welfare, and happiness of our dachshund friends. We are based in Central and South Central Texas and have volunteers in many parts of Texas. We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. As such, we must rely heavily on donations and contributions, which are a necessity in order to continue to be able to pay the costs of veterinary care and other necessary expenses for each of our dachshunds. Diamond Dachshund has rescued, rehabilitated and placed from 100 to 200 dachshunds each year since our incorporation in 2003. We strive to find the right home for each dog’s individual personality and needs so that the placement is permanent and both the dogs and the families who adopt them are equally happy.
Kriser’s North Lamar – Hard Luck Hounds Rescue
Hard Luck Hounds was founded in 2011 to assist the Austin Animal Center in its mission to keep our city no kill and save every homeless pet that enters its doors. Thankfully most animals are adopted quickly but a small group keeps getting left behind, often waiting months or longer to be discovered. Hard Luck Hounds formed to help the shelter’s longest-stay dogs find forever families.
