Donation Drive at Kriser's in Illinois
This holiday season, each Kriser’s location has partnered with a local rescue to raise awareness and collect much needed pet food and supply donations for animals in need. Stop by your local Kriser’s in December to donate unopened food and treats and new or gently used toys, beds, blankets and other supplies. Make the holiday season a little brighter for animals in need!

Kriser’s Wilmette – Furrever Friend Rescue
FURRever Friends Animal Rescue is an all volunteer rescue. We are dedicated to helping animals needing rescue from all types of situations; medical care, rehabilition, lots of love and of course their FURRever home. FURRever Friends Animal Rescue is a small group of volunteers who work full-time and part-time jobs who are dedicated to helping those who cannot speak for themselves. We are a foster based rescue … this means that we have volunteers who dedicate their time, their homes, and their hearts for our animals until a FURRever loving home can be found
Kriser’s Lakeview – ALIVE Rescue
Alive Rescue is an animal rescue that protects the lives and the welfare of animals. They take on the responsibility to save, rehabilitate and place abandoned, abused, and stray animals.
This foundation was created to give the “not perfect, too young, too old, too sick, special needs” cats and dogs a forever home. They love the underdog! To date, they have proudly saved the lives of over 6,000 dogs, cats and kittens. The team provides specialized medical treatment as well as emotional and behavioral support.
Kriser’s Park Ridge – Chicago Canine Rescue
CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. CCRF has saved the lives of over 6,000 dogs, cats, kittens (yes, we have started helping a few felines each year, too!) and puppies.
CCRF assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in our city – the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, too injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
Kriser’s South Barrington – Creme de la Creme Foundation
CDLC rescues dogs, cats, and has a farm animal sanctuary as well. Many of the animals have special needs and come from extreme circumstances. A select number of the rescues are used for Animal Assisted Therapy.
Kriser’s Bucktown – Live Like Roo
Live Like Roo Foundation supports dogs and their owners through a cancer diagnosis by providing financial and emotional assistance.
Kriser’s Vernon Hills – Reach Rescue
REACH (Rescuing Each Animal for Caring Homes) Rescue Inc. is a volunteer based not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) no-kill animal rescue group. We are a coalition of rescuers, fosters, vets, humane societies, humane investigators and shelters that advocate saving the lives of homeless animals. We make a selfless and concerted effort to educate the general public on the humane treatment of animals, and the need for comprehensive spay and neutering programs.
Kriser’s Kildeer – The Buddy Foundation
Starting in 1995, a group of concerned animal lovers united to establish a no-kill, safe haven for homeless animals. The Buddy Foundation was named after a much loved collie belonging to an original founder. The Buddy Foundation is a volunteer, not-for-profit 501(c) (3) organization with all funds directly assisting our animals.

ALIVE Rescue believes every animal has the right to a well-balanced, socialized and fulfilled life. They take on the responsibility to save, rehabilitate and place abandoned, abused and stray animals. They provide medical, behavioral and physical support for animals despite their age, health and/or breed. ALIVE Rescue promotes sustainable living and care-giving within our communities by building awareness, appreciation and respect for all animals and the environment.

The Anti-Cruelty Society shall provide compassionate care for any animal in need, attempt to find a home for every healthy or rehabilitatable dog and cat that comes to us, intervene to prevent cruelty to animals, partner with the community to educate on animal issues and inspire compassion and respect, and provide low or no cost spaying or neutering.
Kriser’s Glen Ellyn – Feral Fixers
Our Long-term goal is to educate local governments and the public on the benefits of a Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) program in DuPage County. To reduce both the number of cats euthanized and the feral cat population in DuPage County while improving the quality of life for both cats and humans through the high-volume use of low-cost or free spay-neuter services to sterilize feral, semi-feral, stray and domestic cats
Players for Pits (PFP) guiding mission is to save discarded pit bull type dogs that come through local shelters or those who have to be given up by their owners. Through the implementation of innovative programs, PFP aims to ethically challenge our surrounding communities through education, advocacy and responsible adoptions in order to decrease the amount of dogs dying and being displaced on a daily basis.

It’s A Pittie Rescue is dedicated to rescuing, re-habbing, and re-homing the Pit Bull breeds and educating people about one of America’s most loyal and kind breed, one dog at a time.
Kriser’s Naperville – Naperville Area Humane Society
The Naperville Area Humane Society is a 501(c)3 nonprofit limited admission animal shelter for dog and cat adoption, foster care, and owner surrenders serving the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Our shelter can house as many as eighteen dogs and forty cats.
