When it’s this hot, it’s hard to get your pet interested in food, water or anything else that requires them moving from their position directly in front of the air conditioner. But with a frozen treat, you can solve a lot of problems at once.
It helps:
• Try hydrators like goat milk and bone broth or toppers like wet food and pumpkin
• Pour them into an ice tray, popsicle mold, or paper cup to freeze
• Start with your densest ingredient and let it freeze first
• Then, add your second layer, and so on
• Freeze a surprise in the middle — a long jerky treat or an Earth Animal No-Hide Stix makes a great popsicle stick.
• Run hot water on the outside of the container to release your creation. Serve up outside or on a towel in the kitchen to prevent mess.
